So how many times have you started a conversation with someone on a dating app only to find out right away that the person you are talking to is in fact a bot?
In case you aren’t sure what a bot is, the Wikipedia definition is:
An Internet bot, also known as web robot, WWW robot or simply bot, is a software application that runs automated tasks over the Internet. Typically, bots perform tasks that are both simple and structurally repetitive, at a much higher rate than would be possible for a human alone.
So in this particular case, “Augusta” goes from telling me she had a busy week with family, straight to feeling turned on. Wow, if only girls really were like this, then things would be much different on this planet. The funny thing is, whoever runs these bots, needs to learn that, “so….wanna see me?” = webcam and webcam = pay $ to see a girl. It’s simple math people. So why not try a different approach to fooling guys that might actually work? Anyway, right after that message I wrote back reinforcing the fact that it was a bot, and they continue to try to lead me into another app, which I left on the screenshot so you can talk to the bot if you are bored and if you have nothing better to do with your money.
In the meantime, I will deal with real life women, and not bots. There should be a new saying, “Friends don’t let friends talk to bots.”
